Fernando Sucre Miguez, Esq. Law and Political Sciences since 1990.
Fernando Sucre practiced as associate lawyer in one of the most renowned law firms of the country and from 1995 founded and is Senior Partner of Sucre, Briceño & Co. Law Firm.
He has worked in the public sector holding office as Legal Advisor of the Ministry of Government and Justice in 1991 and 1999. In 2001, he was designated as Acting Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Government and Justice. In 2002, the Executive Branch of Government declared him qualified to hold the position of Supreme Court Justice.
Fernando Sucre is in addition member of the Bank Board of Directors of Mi Banco, S.A. BMF since 2005, and he was appointed President of the Board of Directors of such institution since 2008, office he holds to date.
His extended practice and experience in the Financial Law and Corporate Law arena is very well recognized among his peers.
Author of “The Use of the Credit Card in Panama”, “The Search of Our Identity” and “The Triumph of a Statesman, Life and Work of Enrique Jiménez”, and Co-authored specialized Copyright monographs at Getting The Deal Through.
